- Purpose of use of personal data
The processing of personal data is based on a legitimate interest of the company and/or
recruitment needs and processing of job applications, as well as needs they create.

Information provided by the applicant electronically or on paper, including attachments.
- Storage period for applicants’ data
KAS stores application data for two years from the end of the recruiting process and selection of a new employee.
- Regular disclosure and transfer of data outside the EU or EEA
If necessary, the data may be transferred to other EU member states or outside the EEA.
The data is not generally disclosed to outside KAS asunnot. In connection with any personal assessment related to the duties, personal data may be transferred to a partner that carries out personal assessments.
- Principles of data file protection
Paper documents are stored in locked facilities that can only be accessed by authorised persons who have signed a non-disclosure agreement.
Data recorded into our IT system is stored in a centrally locked and monitored server room that is protected by a firewall and other technical means. The data can only be accessed by authorised persons who have signed a non-disclosure agreement and who must use a personal user ID and password to log in to the system.
