The responsibility distribution table appended to your rental agreement defines the responsibilities of the tenant and the lessor. Please read the responsibility distribution table carefully.
Residents must take good care of their rented apartment and we encourage our tenants to carry out small renovations in their apartments to promote living comfort. You are allowed to carry out small predefined renovations in your apartment in accordance with the responsibility distribution table.
However, you should always first contact the property manager to make sure whether you can carry out the renovations yourself or if they need to be carried out by the lessor.
Residents are not allowed to carry out any water, plumbing or electrical work.
TENANT’S DUTY TO NOTIFY
As a resident, you have the obligation to immediately notify the property manager or janitor of any leaks, moisture damage or other issues you have detected. Failure to comply with the duty to notify may result in the termination of your rental agreement.
