Finding a rental apartment
Visit our website to view available apartments and apartments that are about to become available. Submit a housing application once you have found an interesting apartment, building or area.
Housing application
Fill out a housing application. You can either fill out the application for a specific apartment that interests you, or as a general application for all apartments that meet your criteria in your city. If you want to apply for an apartment in more than one city you must fill out a separate application for each city.
Your application is valid for 3 months, after which you can renew your application.
Processing of housing applications
Your completed application is saved into our customer register. We process applications daily and will contact you as soon as possible if we can offer you an apartment that meets your requirements. We will check the credit record of all applicants from the database of Suomen Asiakastieto Oy.
Apartment viewing
When we offer you an apartment, we will also instruct you on apartment viewing. It is a good idea to go view the apartment before accepting an offer.
Attachments to the housing application
If you wish to apply for an apartment the resident selection of which is based on ARA’s resident selection grounds, we will ask you for proof of your income and assets, loans, studies, etc. Our housing negotiators will instruct you on the delivery of necessary attachments.
Rental agreements are signed electronically
Once you have accepted an offered apartment, our housing negotiator will tell you about the terms and conditions of your rental agreement and instruct you in signing the agreement. Our rental agreements are signed electronically. You will need online banking identifiers to electronically sign your rental agreement.
If you do not have electronic banking identifiers you can arrange to sign your rental agreement at a local property manager’s office.
